No matter what a company says about how effective its anti-aging products might be, you really can't know for sure unless you check out the consumer testimonials, look up the clinical studies and find out for yourself. That's why I make sure to do my research before buying any anti-aging skin care formula being marketed today. With the Internet offering an unprecedented level of interconnectedness today, there really is no excuse not to.

Neuvage is a brand of anti-aging formulas that is supposed to include numerous antioxidants. These may include Vitamin C and other well-regarded nutrients, which are great for general skin care and overall health support. However, if you want to really address the problem of premature aging on the face and neck area, then you probably want to see more well-known ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000, Collagen and Argireline. The lack of references to clinical studies is also concerning.

Considering that the anti-aging skin care products sold today tend to be pricey, buying a product without making sure a money-back offer is available can prove to be a big mistake. You might hear about a good product from a friend or another acquaintance, but you really can't know how a product will affect you until you try it for yourself. That's why I like to look for these money-back guarantees, as well as other offers such as free samples.

According to many reviews Murad products may be acceptable for those who want to keep their skin looking bright and smooth. The items include Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser, Neutralizing Treatment Powder and the Youth Builder Supplement. The problem is that these formulas are missing proven anti-aging aids like Hyaluronic Acid and Matrixyl 3000. Also, a free sample is not available, so you can't really test these items out.

You may be more concerned about the appearance of your face and neck area, but when the weather gets warm you probably want to flaunt your feet as well. But many times, because of the lack of care we give to our feet and toe area, we may experience the development of fungus and see chipped, cracked toes and dry feet. Fortunately, there are natural topical solutions out there that can get your toes looking their best again.

Miracle Plus is a two-part skin care system that includes a lotion as well as a brightening formula. Together, with ingredients like Tolnaftate and Tea Tree Oil. The former has been used in prescription drugs for its ability to kill fungus but is safe enough to use regularly; the latter is widely known for its antiseptic properties. The products can be used on a regular basis to ensure that your toes and feet are beautiful when its time to hit the beach or the pool.

No matter what you want in terms of your anti-aging needs, you probably need a topical formula that addresses a few basic concerns. For instance, if you want to reduce the appearance of existing wrinkles as well as delay the development of future wrinkles, then you want to use a Collagen booster like Matrixyl 3000. You may also want a formula that includes real Collagen, considering this amino acid diminishes in supply in our bodies over time.

Lycogel is a brand of anti-aging products that includes items such as the Camouflage formula. This product is supposed to contain a variety of nutrients, including Vitamins A and C. The antioxidant properties of such nutrients is definitely worth a look, but I'm not sure that such a product is best for women looking to minimize the visibility of fine lines, age spots, under-eye circles and more. I'd rather depend on Matrixyl 3000, Collagen and other proving anti-aging aids.

I find that there are many anti-aging skin care products that don't address the issues that are most important to women experiencing premature aging of the skin. For instance, many companies claim that their products are fast-acting, but fail to offer a formula that will see us through well into the future. While quick results are great to have in a product, you also want to be able to use the topical cream for the many years ahead.

A line of anti-aging products under the L Occitane brand is marketed as one of the better options for women looking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and age spots. The products include the Shea Butter Hand Cream, the Lavender Harvest Face Cleansing Gel, Olive Express Radience Mask and the Green Tea Body. Unfortunately, studies do not show whether these products will help with long-term needs.

There are many consumer products on the market that are endorsed by celebrities and other personalities, as we are all aware of. And while many of us probably wouldn't purchase these products under normal circumstances, perhaps the fact that a well-known figure is saying good things about the product might sway us a bit. There are many anti-aging products out there that have the backing of celebrities, but the question is, do these work?

The Face Master, for example, is endorsed by Suzanne Somers, who these days seems to be focused more on her line of consumer products than on her acting career. She is perhaps most well-known for her Thigh Master of the 90s, which was a hit for a while among women looking to work out their legs. But this anti-aging product, with a price tag of $150, does not really seem to offer anything useful. It includes a hand-held device and a lotion that appear to be gimmicky.

We are all aware of the benefits of a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, as well as other whole foods. These natural foods are rich in nutrients such as antioxidants that can help prevent free-radical damage, and they contain other nutrients to keep our health up. However, there are also many skin care products surfacing that are based on fruits and vegetables, and advertised as superior options for anti-aging skin care. Are these worth checking out?

Epicuren, for instance, markets all kinds of natural products, such as moisturizers, vitamin supplements, acne products and anti-aging items. One of the products, the Botanical Elixir, contains 33 natural ingredients, according to the company. These may include Carrot, Orange Peel, Cucumber, Broccoli and Celery Extracts. While this is nice to know, I'm disappointed that the formulas don't contain anti-aging aids like Matrixyl 3000 and Argireline, two of the leading anti-aging ingredients.

Some skin care products are expensive no matter how you cut it, and I've come to terms that I will have to spend more on my skin care products than I usually would for a nutritional product. However, I am definitely surprised at how much companies are charging these days for what seem to be very basic formulas. Whereas you could spend less than $100 on some proven anti-aging products, there are others that are charging well into the $500 range for a bottle of cream.

Dr Brandt is a brand of skin care products for women looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines, age spots, wrinkles and more. The company says that the formulas have been developed with only the highest-quality ingredients, most of which are naturally derived. However, with the exception of the R3P Cream, which may contain Argireline, I don't really see anything to get excited about. And even this product costs $125 per bottle, which seems too expensive.

If there ever was such a thing as an overrated anti-aging formula for women, it would probably be products based on the natural stimulant Caffeine. This substance is touted by a variety of health and wellness companies, including companies that manufacture weight loss formulas for men and women. (Caffeine could boost energy levels, but some say it can also enhance metabolic rate.) But as it relates to anti-aging skin care for women, proponents believe Caffeine can reduce the appearance of blemishes.

A product called the Persona Caffeine Lotion is advertised as a safe and effective option for those who wish to address the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines without opting for more expensive and riskier treatments. The product seems to contain many different natural ingredients, including Caffeine, Chamomile, Oat, Sweet Almond and Slippery Elm Bark, among others. While this is nice to know, I don't see any superior anti-aging aids such as Hyaluronic Acid and Matrixyl 3000.

I understand the frustration of dealing with premature signs of aging, with wrinkles, fine lines, age spots and dark under-eye circles among the problems, but I don't believe women should have to spend hundreds of dollars on their anti-aging products. You will be surprised at how much some of these topical solutions go for these days, with some reaching well into the hundreds of dollars. The surprising thing, though, is that the formulas don't really appear to contain superior anti-aging aids.

Cosmetics Sisley is a brand of anti-aging products that includes products such as the Phyto-Sculpt Global Anti-Cellulite, the Intensive Night Cream and the Ecological Compound. The Intensive Night Cream seems to be featured as the company's main product, with ingredients like Chamomile and Calendula Lily. However, the product is missing key anti-aging aids such as Matrixyl 3000 and Argireline. That's why I was surprised to see a price tag of around $270 per ounce.

If you are looking for a topical solution to help diminish the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines, but you don't want to sacrifice other aspects of skin care such as moisturizing, then you want to look for the formulas that have been specifically formulated to offer a wide range of benefits. You won't find too many products like that -- well, you might hear companies making such claims, but many times they fall through when put to the test.

Joey New York is a collection of anti-aging products that is supposed to help increase Collagen production in the skin while also offering moisture support. Products include the Correct-A-Line Treatment, the Lift-Up Eye Gel, the Quick Lunchtime Face Peel and the Collagen Boosting Lipstick. Some of these products may contain Hyaluronic Acid, which is notable for its moisturizing effects as much as for its anti-aging benefits. However, I don't see potent Collagen boosters like Matrixyl 3000 listed.

Watch out for companies that try to get you to purchase multiple skin care products to meet your anti-aging needs. These companies tend to stress that you need a comprehensive system in order to address all the concerns, such as wrinkles, fine lines, age spots and under-eye circles, for example. While this might make sense when you think about it, there are actually potent topical products that are effective as standalone formulas.

Imedeen is a brand of skin care products that includes items such as the Tan Optimizer, the Prime Renewal formula, the Time Perfection formula and others. The products appear to include natural ingredients like Biomarine complex, Lycophene, Vitamin C and other nutrients. While this is nice to know, it's worth pointing out that none of these items are meant to be used as standalone products; that means the costs will add up when you buy multiple items.

While most skin care companies will not have that many great offers for anti-aging skin care support, you will find a select few that offer high-quality formulas for a test drive. This is great because it is hard to tell how effective a product will be without first trying the product, which is why companies that offer free samples have an edge over companies that don't. This is especially true when you consider that anti-aging formulas can get pretty expensive.

Hylexin is a skin care product that is supposed to be based on Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, which is identified as a flavonoid derived from citrus fruits. Some reports indicate that this may be an effective agent for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, but it seems to be more applicable for anti-inflammatory effects as well as for reducing puffiness and swelling. Moreover, I don't see any mention of a free sample offer, much to my disappointment.

The higher-quality anti-aging skin care products for women tend to be advertised as capable of boosting Collagen production in the skin and body. This is an important distinction to make, because Collagen is the most abundant amino acid in the body, but our natural levels begin to decrease as we age. That's why women can replenish their Collagen levels by either using a topical formula based on Collagen itself or a Collagen booster.

But not all formulas that fit this bill are alike. A line of anti-aging products called Hydropeptide claims to contain 11 different peptides to help reduce the sign of aging on the face and neck. The products include the Intensive Concentrate Anti-Aging Corrective Creme, which may contain Hyaluronic Acid. This is important for those who wish to moisturize their skin while reducing the appearance of wrinkles. However, I would have liked to see Argireline and Matrixyl 3000, for instance.

There are many things that go into making a good anti-aging formula, including the ingredients and the special offers made by the company. I suppose going with all-natural ingredients is the cool thing to do, especially with the many side effects associated with artificial anti-aging agents and prescription drugs. But you could go wrong with even some natural formulas; that's why it helps to go for proven products from reputable companies.

One such product can be found at Hydroleyes.com, where you find a topical serum based on two ingredients: Haloxyl for those dark under-eye circles and Matrixyl 3000, a blend of peptides that has been proven to stimulate Collagen production and improve the overall appearance of the skin. The best part is that the formula has been shown to be effective and safe, which means that you don't have to worry about any damaging effects.

I guess some companies choose to not reveal the ingredients in their product formulas because they feel that consumers will purchase their products on name recognition alone. Hopefully, in most cases women do not experience adverse side effects or any other negative reactions, but the only way to ensure this doesn't happen is by checking the ingredients before using the product. That's why I always check for these all-important details online.

Noevir is a brand of skin care products that includes items such as the Herbal Cleansing Massage Cream, the Herbal Cleansing Rinse, the Herbal Skin Balancing Lotion and the Herbal Enriched Moisturizer. The products may contain "botanical extracts" as well as other naturally occurring ingredients, such as antioxidants. However, I am disappointed that the company seems unwilling to disclose what these ingredients are exactly -- at least I don't see these details online.

I think that there are there is a clear different between purchasing skin care products locally at retailers and ordering them online directly through companies. Aside from the likely different in prices (ordering online tends to be cheaper in many instances), you can take advantage of online-only offers from select companies. For instance, some skin care products come with free sample offers, money-back guarantees, auto-ship options and more.

Obagi Skincare
is a brand of anti-aging products for women who would like to address their premature signs of aging with a comprehensive range of topical products. These items include the Nu-Skin Toner, Foaming Gel and Eye Cream, in addition to the Cffectives C-Cleansing Gel, Professional-C Serum and C-Exfoliating Day Lotion. However, while you can buy these products online, I don't see any offer for an auto-ship program, for instance.

I suppose there will always be a market for high-end anti-aging skin care products, as long as socialites, celebrities and other well-heeled consumers exist. Some of these products tend to have eye-popping price tags, with many products costing over $100 and some reaching the $1,000 mark. I honestly can't say why such products cost so much -- there are cheaper alternatives that seem to contain essentially the same ingredients.

Peter Thomas Roth is a brand of anti-aging products for women who want to spend some extra money for higher-end formulas. According to the company, a product called the Un-Wrinkle formula is the featured anti-aging formula, with ingredients like Argireline and Matrixyl 3000. Indeed, these two ingredients are at the pinnacle of anti-aging care, but you can find topical creams based on these ingredients for less than the $120 you'd have to spend on this company.

Before you go to your doctor to ask for a prescription-grade drug to address your wrinkles, ask yourself if this is what you really need. Many women are known to use pharmaceutical skin care products to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of premature aging, when they don't really have to subject their skin to such formulas. There are perfectly effective (and safe) alternatives that can be ordered over-the-counter from reputable companies.

PrevageMD is a prescription anti-aging cream that is marketed towards women who want to overcome the premature signs of facial aging. The formula is actually based on a natural substance called Idebeone, which is an antioxidant, but it is supplied in a highly concentrated form. While this ingredient has certainly shown some promise for skin care applications, it has also been reported to cause side effects such as irritation, redness and allergic reactions.

I think it's true that you don't have to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to meet your skin care needs, no matter what they say about what you need to do to keep your skin looking young for the foreseeable future. The fact is that you can only get so much return on investment if you are spending upwards of $500 or more for a topical serum, treatment or other form of therapy. Of course, the opposite also holds true: You don't want to underspend and end up with junk.

Principal Secret Reclaim is a set of topical anti-aging products for women that includes items such as the Total Facial Cleanser, the Age Braker Benefit Boosters, the EyeMazing Eye Serum and the Revolutionary Anti-Aging Cream. Some of the products seem to include Argireline, a hexapeptide that has been shown to help with existing wrinkles and future development of wrinkles. However, at around $30 for the kit, I am not confident that the overall quality of the products is high.
