Many women are shying away from pharmaceutical-grade skin care products and going for over-the-counter, naturally derived products instead. And then there are the companies that claim to use medical-grade ingredients in their product formulations.

For instance, La Therapie is the name of a skin care line that supposedly includes products with high-quality, pharmaceutical- and medical-grade ingredients. The products range from cleansers, lotions, creams and other topical solutions.

But after taking a look at some of the products' ingredients, I found out that most of these can be found in many over-the-counter products that can be purchased at your local drugstore. Some of the formulas may contain Collagen, which is nice, but the overall formulations may not be that great.
