I like to see that my skin care products contain natural, familiar ingredients, because putting foreign substances on the skin on a regular basis may have a negative impact in the long run. However, just because an ingredient is natural does not necessarily mean that it will be safe or effective for anti-aging skin care.

A topical serum called Athena 7 Minute Lift is advertised as capable of fighting the signs of premature aging on the face and neck, including wrinkles, fine lines and age spots. Ingredients may include 12 plant oils, such as Olive Oil, Sesame Seed Oil and Chamomile Flower Oil. I'm disappointed, however, that Collagen is not included.
